The Mustangs are proud to announce the signing of Caden Henrikson for the upcoming season. The Southern California native caught the attention of Coach Kenny Orlando while playing for the Anaheim Ducks U18 AAA last season. “My personal goals for this season are to develop as much as possible to prepare me for the next level and create offense to help win a National Championship” Henrikson states.
Coach Orlando believes Henrikson will fit in well with the group and the Mustangs style of play. “Caden is a hard-nosed hockey player that pays attention to the details of the game. He doesn’t back down and plays a simple heavy style, while having a good skill set. We are excited to challenge Caden this season and bring even more out of his game.”
Caden potted 24 points in 58 games at the U18 level last season. Henrikson states, “I consider my style of play as a hard worker who is strong and physical in the corners. I like driving hard to the net with the puck to produce goals and scoring opportunities.”
Caden is excited to play at the Olympic “Ice Sheet” in Utah. “I chose to sign with the Ogden Mustangs because of the development opportunity given by the coaches and the atmosphere that they bring to the players with the rink and workout facilities.” he concludes.
