Welcome Back, Nick Dreyer!

The Ogden Mustangs are pleased to welcome back former Asst. Coach and General Manager Nick Dreyer. Departing Ogden following the conclusion of the 2021-22 season, Dreyer spent the past two seasons as Coach and General Manager of the Provo Predators NCDC program. During his time in Provo, Dreyer built the program from the ground up and played the lead role in the NCDC transition. Last season, the Predators finished 3rd in the Mountain Division and were one of only two teams to obtain a winning regular season record against the Mountain Division Champion, Ogden Mustangs. This will be Dreyer’s 5th season in Junior Hockey and 12th season coaching overall. He began his Junior coaching career as an Assistant Coach and Assistant GM for the Ogden Mustangs during their inaugural USPHL season in 2020-21. During his time in Ogden he formed a great relationship with Head Coach Kenny Orlando and looks forward to teaming up again in the pursuit of a National Championship. “Kenny and I have the same vision for this organization and really want to push this thing over the edge.” Dreyer also looks forward to returning to the best fan base in Junior Hockey. “Ogden is a place that has always felt like home to me. The fans, staff, ownership and volunteers have always been amazing and I can’t wait to get back to work for them.” The Mustangs wrapped up main camp Saturday July 13th and now have their sights set on training camp set to begin on August 26th. “We have such a strong group returning and have added some incredible pieces through recruiting and main camp.” The Mustangs open the regular season on September 20th when they host the Idaho Falls Spud Kings at The Weber County Ice Sheet. Season and single game tickets are available through OgdenMustangs.com.
