Welcome Aboard The Ferry!

The Ogden Mustangs are proud to announce the signing of Forward Jackson Ferry for the 2022-2023 season. Jackson spent last season in Canada splitting time between the Blackfalds Bulldogs AJHL and Weyburn Wings SJHL. “I have heard a lot of good things about the program and once I spoke with the coaching staff, I knew it was something that I wanted to be a part of” Ferry confirmed from his residence in Orange County, CA.

Coach Orlando had been scouting Jackson since he was playing U18 AAA in Anaheim for the Jr. Ducks and really likes his game. “Jackson is a very talented hockey player who will make our team stronger in all three zones. He is hungry to be a part of a winning culture again and he will be a big part of that this season” Orlando states.

Ferry adds, “I would consider myself a 200 foot centermen who has a high hockey IQ. I am able to contribute on the score sheet but also do the little things in the D zone that don’t show up on the score sheet.” Jackson knows what it takes to play at that next level and looks to bring that experience into the locker room in Ogden.

“I want to be a part of a winning culture and make a playoff run to a championship with this group. I feel like we are able to do that in Ogden. The end goal would be to earn a spot in college hockey and this is a great place to do so.” Jackson concludes.
