The Ogden Mustangs are pleased to announce the signing of forward Jared Weisert for the 2022-2023 season. Weisert is excited to be a part of a winning culture and successful group, stating, “Our goal is to win a championship and I want to help the team in anyway I can.”
Weisert adds playmaking abilities to the highly talented group of Ogden forwards. His precision passing and IQ around the crease will help provide ozone success for both himself and his teammates. Weisert adds, “My play style is skilled with the ability to make plays and share the puck well.”
Coach Orlando is excited to get Jared acclimated to the team quickly, “We have watched Jared for two seasons now. We see him strengthening the forward group in its ability to create space from nothing. Jared’s IQ and unselfish mindset fit our play style.” Weisert has had plenty of success over his past 2 seasons of U18 AAA racking up 39 goals 98 assists in 124 games between Boston Hockey Academy and Dallas Stars Elite.
“I joined the Mustangs because I want to play in a place where winning is expected.” ,Weisert exclaims from his home in Southlake, TX. He is excited to get to work in the home opener Friday September 30th.
