The Ogden Mustangs are proud to announce the addition of Gabe Kindgren to the team’s blue line for the 2022-2023 season. The Washington-native spent last season with the Wenatchee Wolves U18 AAA, and is ready to take the next step into the junior hockey ranks. He will bring a defensive and physical style to the group of D.
Gabe says, “I joined the Ogden Mustangs because of the great area and quality of the organization.”
“After speaking with Gabe, it is evident that he’s ready to push his career to the next level. He wants the demand, on and off the ice, that come with being a junior hockey player. Gabe plays a hard game and is strong in his defending skills and moving the puck. Getting some experience under his belt at this level will be huge for his development as a younger player on our team” states Coach Orlando.
Kindgren played in 33 games with Wenatchee last season, putting up 5 goals, 2 assists, and 56 PIMS. Gabe adds, “My style of play is being a reliable and physical defenseman who can move the puck. I like making plays and getting the puck up ice”
The Mustangs now add a stronger depth to an already talented group of defenders.
“My personal goals for this season are to work on my feet and get stronger. I believe the Mustang’s development structure can help me accomplish those goals.” , Gabe concludes.
