The Ogden Mustangs are proud to announce the signing of 2004 birth year Forward Justin Freeman for the 2022-2023 season. Freeman is a Washington native who played in the USPHL last season for the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes.
“I decided to join the Mustangs because it is a top-notch program. I want to help this team win. I want to grow both as a player and as a man.” Freeman states. Justin is excited to come in and develop in a very deep forward group.
“Justin leaves everything on the ice, that is never a question. He will push to be better every day and make our depth stronger. He plays that gritty style and never gives up on pucks. I like where his head is at right now and I’m ready to help Justin improve his game” Coach Orlando states.
Freeman netted 11 goals and 11 assists in 36 games for the Hurricanes last season.
Justin confirms his style of play, “I’m an aggressive forward who gets on the forecheck, who scores when I get my opportunities.” He brings a relentless style of play to the ice which helps pick up the pace in the Mustangs favor.
