Big Lewww! The Ogden Mustangs are proud to announce the return of forward Lewis Izadi for the 2022-23 season. “What made me decide to come back to the Mustangs was how much support the team, staff and city have to offer. The program is so well put together and helped me advance in all aspects of my game.” said the southern-California native.
Coach Orlando has high hopes for Izadi in his sophomore season, “Lewis is a character guy who fits well in our locker room. He is very coachable and always respectful to his teammates. He will give 110% every time he’s on the ice or in the gym. His development as a player was evident last season and we are excited to see that show on the ice this year.”
Izadi adds, “I consider my style of play as a hard hitting/grinder forward. I bring speed, physicality, and IQ to the game. I like to use that to make plays happen in every area on the ice.”
Lewis played in 32 games and posted 3 goals 4 assists while making his physical presence known on the ice.
Lewis concludes, “My personal goals for this year are to be a leader for this team on and off the ice anyway I can be, be a bigger presence for the team wherever they need me most and end the season with more points than I had last season.”
